1. Star Talent Palmer Available for Crucial London Derby with Arsenal

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca stated on Friday that Cole Palmer is ready to play for the squad's significant Premier League encounter against London rivals Arsenal.

The 23-year-old England midfielder had been sidelined due to a broken toe incurred after an accidental occurrence.

“He is ready to start and participate,” Maresca declared. “Everyone is happy.”

This season, Palmer has featured in just four games across all competitions, scoring twice.

After joining from Manchester City in 2023, he has notched 45 scores and 29 helpers in 101 games for Chelsea.

The Merseyside club were unsuccessful in their appeal against Idrissa Gueye's sending off for an on-field altercation with fellow player Michael Keane during the squad's 1-0 victory at Old Trafford.

The veteran Senegalese midfielder was sent off only 13 minutes into the contest after slapping Keane during a dispute over a poor pass.

Gueye quickly said sorry, and the pair were seen reconciled later in a mock online post.

“We have appealed it and our appeal was turned down,” coach the manager said. “No explanation was provided for the rejection but we did appeal it.”

When asked about any further fallout from the incident, Moyes added: “It was over immediately, it was done, that was it, we moved on swiftly and it was all sorted within the dressing room.”

However, Nuno highlighted that there can be no room for overconfidence when the sides meet on Sunday at the their home ground.

“It’s comparable to back pain, but a morning sort of injury, one where you just rest awkwardly or move improperly. So we’re not expecting, at this point anyway, that it’s very severe and it’s improving already. So we’re hopeful that it’ll be okay for the weekend.”

The defender was feeling his hamstring muscle after the 3-0 Europa League victory, but Dyche said the player “should be fine”.

Meanwhile, the full-back (thigh injury), the midfielder (thigh), Dilane Bakwa (hamstring), the striker (knee), and Oleksandr Zinchenko (hip) are likely to miss out.

6. Glasner: European Loss Will Not Hinder Palace

Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner feels that the setback of midweek's European defeat to the French side is a sign of how far the club has come in competing on multiple fronts.

The FA Cup winners went ahead at the away ground through Tyrick Mitchell's opening period goal but were pegged back by the opposition manager's team, who climbed to second in the table.

Crystal Palace now return to domestic competition with a home fixture against the Red Devils, and Glasner is optimistic his team can keep up their challenge for a top four place.
