Power Restoration Efforts in the Capital
Efforts proceeded on the weekend to repair energy infrastructure in Kyiv, after assaults.
Power had been returned to more than 800,000 citizens by Saturday and the major private energy company said the key work to repair the grid was finished though certain disruptions remained.
Air Defence Operations and Drone Jamming
The Ukrainian anti-aircraft systems intercepted or jammed 54 of 78 total UAVs from Russia launched against the country overnight, the military reported on the weekend.
Russia's military authorities claimed it intercepted 42 enemy Ukrainian drones over the country's airspace.
Cuba Denies Accusations of Deploying Soldiers to the War
